"Dear World"

Girls Incorporated has been celebrating girls’ voices and providing a safe place for sharing since 1864. That commitment is now being taken to a new level with the Girls Inc. "Dear World" public education campaign.

We asked girls everywhere,
“If you could send a message to the whole world about what it’s like growing up as a girl today, what would you say?”

They spoke--and wrote, shouted, laughed, whispered, and signed--saying,
“The only person I want to be is me!”

Join Girls Inc. NSV and Girls Inc. National in honoring girls’ voices. Help us ask the whole world to sit up, pay attention, and celebrate along with us.

Girls Inc. wants to celebrate YOUR voice too! Visit www.girlsinc.org/dearworld to post your own "Dear World" message for everyone to see.

If you are a girl: What does the whole world need to know about what it's like growing up as a girl today?

If you are a woman: What do you want girls today to know about what it was like for you when you were a girl?

Girls Inc. & Dove

Girls Inc. is honored to partner with Dove in their efforts to raise self-esteem in young girls across the country!

As a part of the "Thank You For Making A Difference" campaign, Dove will contribute up to $500,000 to be shared among Girls Inc. and two other organizations that support the brand's mission to build self-esteem.

Visit this Girls Inc.& Dove link, enter the UPC codes from your Dove products, and designate $1 of each entry to Girls Inc. and our new Mind+Body initiative. This program gives girls the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to maintain a healthy and positive sense of self.

The deadline is December 15th so don't delay!
